Puzzled Pint HQ and Puzzled Pint Pittsburgh

Puzzled Pint is a beginner-friendly puzzle hunt which happens on the second Tuesday of each month in multiple cities around the world. The hunt typically takes place in a bar during a happy hour and is not competitive in nature. The location of the event for each city changes monthly; solvers must complete a puzzle online in order to locate each month's venue. After arriving, teams of any size (usually 3-6) solve around 5 puzzles "as quickly as they can" (or as I like to say, "while having as much fun as they can.")

I started attending Puzzled Pint Pittsburgh events in October 2014 and then began assisting with the logistics in February 2015. As an game coordinator (GC), I help with finding locations, communicating with restaurant staff, providing puzzle-solving materials, playtesting (quality control) of puzzles, and giving out hints/instructions at each hunt.

I also work with Puzzled Pint HQ (the group of people who oversees operations in all cities) to promote our events and keep up a social media presence on Facebook and Twitter.

I worked on a team with fellow GC to produce the July 2017 set based on Game of Thrones. I authored 2.5 puzzles (Melisandre's Missive and The House of Black and White, as well as a bonus "puzzle" Crosswodor). I was also in charge of creating graphics for the puzzles and formatting the entire set.
