Trombone

Although I do not regularly play any more, I played the trombone for about a decade spanning from late high school until early adulthood. I purchased my own trombone and lessons in order to join my high school's marching band and take a concert band class. I also got to perform with ~40 trombonists of various ages with my school district and local musicians. I continued playing in college in a kilt-wearing marching band, basketball/football pep band, and the community orchestra.
Here are some highlights of one of AUO's concerts. This YouTube account also has full recordings of these pieces.
The AUO performs Danzón no. 2 by Arturo Márquez in spring of 2016. I'm in the trombone section.
This is a video about the Kiltie Band culture, camaraderie, music, and traditions.
The Kiltie Band performs CMU's Fight Song at Homecoming my first year of undergraduate studies.
The Lakota West Marching Firebirds were invited to march in the Rose Parade in 2008. Marching 5.5 miles is very challenging.
The Lakota School District Trombone Ensemble with the Bones of Cincinnatus performing 76 Trombones.
